Message I think the reason is due to the fact that he's only running 11 psi with a high compression ratio. That will give you more HP but less torque. Just as if I were to drop my compression ratio down to 8:1 and run more boost I'd have more torque but less HP.

Also keep in mind that on a normal stage 3 TT running at 15 psi, the turbos can put out the 15 psi easily at the lower RPM's but they struggle at higher RPM's, they can't flow enough air. That's why you see the torque curve on cars with high boost/stock turbos drop off so sharply. With him running only 11 psi, the turbos have plenty of overhead and don't have any problem moving enough air at high RPM's.
